Affiliate Disclosure
LAST UPDATED · 12 JUNE 2026
Transparency matters, so here's exactly how SkinMax makes money from product links.
The disclosure
SkinMax is a participant in the Amazon EU Associates Programme, an affiliate advertising programme designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.co.uk. As an Amazon Associate, SkinMax earns from qualifying purchases.
What this means in practice
- Some product links in the SkinMax app and on tryskinmax.com are affiliate links. If you click one and make a qualifying purchase, we earn a small commission.
- This costs you nothing extra — prices are identical whether you use our link or go to the retailer directly.
- Affiliate links may also appear for other retailers in future; any such relationship will be disclosed here.
How recommendations are chosen
Product guidance in SkinMax is drawn from a fixed, curated catalogue of widely trusted skincare brands, matched to your analysis. The catalogue is selected on reputation, ingredient quality and affordability — not on commission rates. Affiliate status never changes what gets matched to you, and the AI cannot recommend products outside the catalogue.
Our honesty rules
- An affiliate relationship never guarantees a product suits your skin — always review ingredients, follow usage directions, and patch-test new products.
- We never accept payment from brands to feature their products in recommendations.
- Recommendations are cosmetic guidance, not medical advice.
